Module Assessment

I got my feedback back for the last module we did yesterday. I ended up with 57 a 2.2 which i am happy with but i feel that i could have done better. They said that my engineer project was really strong and a high standard so iam overall pretty happy about it all. Iam still waiting on my feedback for our last semiotics presentations we did. Hopefully i did okay because i was really nervous all the way through it. I think this year has gone well and has opened my eyes alot more to how to approach my work. The course is generally good although i think we should have more face to face time with our tutors. I can't wait to see what they are going to through at us next year.

New Words

Here are images of two new made up words for 1 of my typography projects. Sealker is a person that can walk on water and Borinnings is a dislike of cricket.

Typography

Here is some of my work i have worked on over the last few weeks in typography. This is my 21st century ism called dislecsism. My thinking behind this being that its clever that ive spelt it wrong and its seems to work very well.

End of Easter

The end of easter break is here. Haven't have had alot of work to do so i've been mainly relaxing and catching up with family and friends. It was my birthday on saturday the 3rd, i went into town and got drunk with my mates. It was a decent night could have been better, could have got drunker but what you going to do. My student loan and grant came through over the last week thank god. I've had to manage my finances very carefully this year because there where so called problems with my application to student finance. i am glad its now sorted. I can't wait to get back to Birmingham and get back to Uni and playing 5 a-side again. There will be more updates soon.

ENGINEER

Here is 'ENGINEER' For a 1 day project in typography we had to pick a random occupation out of a bag. Then get a typeface that already exists that represents the word the best and hand render the text. i used a font called Dice of off Dafont.com. i am really happy with the final and iam quite enjoying this typography module.

New term new projects

This is the title of my latest project from Uni, i can do anything aslong as it relates to this but i am struggleing for ideas. I am enjoying this opportunty to do anything but my ideas are lacking, ill get my head around it.

Update!

I havent uploaded anything in a while so i thought this would explain. I am just in the middle of finishing off work for my assessment, i am shitting it. so ill stick some stuff up in a few days.
Christmas 09 was amazing, i really enjoyed being with family again and kirstie <3 i didn't get that much but the best stuff was some decent speakers, some dvds, posters, clothes and abit of cash! Bring on 2010 lets see what you've got.
